My M&H Amplus
« on: March 01, 2011, 11:03:24 PM »

Hi All,

Thought I would post some photos of my 40th birthday present. I was lucky enough to receive a new and awesome M&H Amplus 2.10oz with 8 straight and evenly spaced grains. This bat is huge and is a show stopper, but most importantly this bat is so balanced and the ping is extraordinary and picks up 2oz lighter than its static weight.

The service from Nick at M&H was first class receiving the bat in 10 days and I am in Australia, I know these bats are expensive but boy what a bat it absolutely pings like no other.[/img][/img]

This is the first time I have posted photos so I hope I have got it right.

Nice & chunky with a nice high middle for those hard aussie tracks! Lovely looking bat.

Middle is quite long which did surprise me, reminds me of an over sized Thruxton

Hope you had a great Birthday - obviously someone loves you very much indeed if they got you a pressie like that!
2'10 and picks up like 2'8, and that size? That's a pretty huge bat with a price to match! But if it goes that well, then can't go wrong! I suspect that it would make a few bowlers sweat just looking at it.
Hope you have some fun with that baby this season!  8)

Thanks Pete.
I was a bit cynical about the Amplus and probably would never of bought one for myself as I tend to by all of my bats from Talisman.
But the Wife and kids did very well and this thing is an absolute gun and would highly recommend the Amplus to any of the forum members.

To be fair, I have several Talisman bats and they are top performing bats!
So it was brave of your wife and kids to risk another brand. But it sounds like they did a great job!  ;)
