New SS Playing Clothing 2011
« on: March 17, 2011, 10:51:01 AM »

Eventually sorted out our sponsors for the year and chose to deal with SS to sort out our playing clothing. Gave them the order after negotiating price and was told that it would take 10 days for an order of over 200 items. Actually came after 7 days! Brilliant service, although a couple of items were missing but these are being sorted as we speak.

Anyway here's the link for the pictures of the kit.

Let me know what you think, and if you have any questions then ask away. Would be good to get some feedback from cricket lovers, and we will see if we decide to keep them for the 2012 season.

Thanks

Impressive work mate, looks a really good set of kit. I know the inherent problems with trying to sort kit out, you've done a good job! We'd considered SS but it was a bit expensive for most of the players were willing to pay. ???

Nice kit, but not such a great selection of trims - I guess if you can get the correct trim from them, then it's ok. Are they sorting you out with new 20/20 kit as well Tom? Are you going to be getting rid of the pink and grey?

For a S/S Shirt, Trousers, Polo Shirt, Training TShirt, Cap - £55

But the club makes a very little profit on top of that.

Sticking with the pink and grey! 4 year kit deal with the sponsor. We only use it for about 6 games a year so it's all in really good condition.

Might be a change on the cards for that next year.

Lovely stuff, although I do have issues with the SS cap, mainly because it barely fits on my gargantuan noggin!

Nice looking playing shirts. What happened to the new club crest Thomas?

Time was the deciding factor!

Some of the elder generation who are on the committee drew up some ideas, although they looked more suited to a china plate than a sports shirt!
