Removing stickers
« on: March 17, 2011, 11:33:19 PM »

I'm tempted to remove the stickers from the back of my new SS as i think theyre ugly tbh, and would prefer it without them. Whats the best way to do it with minimal damage? I guess there wont be much of a mark left afterwards due to the stickers not being on the bat long, cheers

If you'd searched you'd see using a hairdryer to heat up is the easiest way and pull across the grain. Slowly.

if there any residue left use beeswax

that is my standard answer nothing beat the stuff to clean and buff a bat if your doing it without much epuipment

i used the Lord Sheraton Pure Beeswax Balsam cost about £2.70 from wilkinsons. seem to do the trick. just rub it in and buff up!

just give it a light sand beforehand with some 200/250 grit paper 1st to remove any glue.

Don't worry, I can vaguely see what you took off the back of the bat on Asad's site. I agree that there are too many stickers... :(
