in all formats of the game i probs got about 600-700ish

but your right i dont like hanging around. that is my biggest downfall.  weather i bat 1-6-8 i play the same game

hit the bad ball block the good ball its simple. but my issue is when the field is spread i still "think" i can go over the top id say 90% of time im out caught never bowled or lbw

i dont have a good technique but that doesnt stop me scoring runs. id just like to improve my tecnique as i think it limits my scoring shots. i am not very strong on the leg side for reasons discussed in another topic.

You look like a pain to bowl at as you'll probably hit most things, quite hard. I reckon you need a long on and a long off, and we'd need to bowl at your pads on a yorker length. Maybe late inswing to dry up your run scoring?

or just like one of captins did to me last year. gets the  bowler to bowl me a half volley smash it for four over mid off..

drops the fielder and i get an over of half volleys on offstick laws of physics one was gonna go to hand. because i dont change the way i bat for field placment. my biggest problem he drops the fielder and im still thinking well (No Swearing Please) it ill go over the top of him lol
im hoping this year with a bat that has a much bigger middle with some of my shots they will be more forgiving

Typically the difference at club level between an average player and a good player is what is in between the ears rather than their technique

yeah like discussed with buzz before anything tight to my body i cant get away because i am to cramped only score when i can free my arms.

I love it, it didn't work last year, so I'll use a bigger bat! That'll show them!

got bowled twice last year by one of the top clubs they have a left armed bowler thats pretty sharp and he bowls big inswing as well

left arm over inswing = simmys game over lol

i do open my stance up alittle bit more to people round the wicket lol

It isn't an offensive thread, otherwise the mods would have deleted it, rather than contributing to it.

I have not said it was offensive, I have raised the point was it really needed to make a topic based on that he isnt as poor as he thought, Surely his average for 2010 season would of illustrated his own level for batting,

But it isn't based on Simmy's vid, or anyone elses in particular. Tim's point was that it is easy to get the impression on here that alot of people play at a very high level, and thus develop something of an inferiority complex from it. He summed it up well by using the CBF match analogy.

His point was purely to express his relief that there isn't a huge skill difference between him and some others on here.

its a little kodac pocket cam just screw it onto tripod does job

had to borrow ryans SD card tho as ive only got a 1gb.

if u have a big SD card nick i can record and just give u the card back to edit/put on ur site etc do what ever u want.

on a 4gb card u get about 40 mins of recording
