Tumo, how is he a liar?

Jeet, he ticks you enough to come out of hibernation and post on this thread?

He lied about a) biting the ball and b) pirouetting on the pitch.

Jeet I will not take the bait mate. Good try though.

I will not post videos of other players cheating recently or disgusting behavior by players on field and trying to deny it later. Afridi made two mistakes in his career which he is not proud of. I will not make excuses for him but its interesting to see people getting so ticked up about Afridi.

Tumo how did he lie? Did he say he did not do it? It would be rather hard to say that with all the cameras. I have seen countless interview where he says he regrets both incidents.

He claimed he was trying to smell how the ball was feeling. Scum.

Apologies not good enough for me i'm afraid. If i took a (No Swearing Please) on your living room sofa and said sorry, you'd probably not forgive me.

What he did was/is very close to the bone and i will never come round on it, its just wrong.

LOL at Afridi in rp27's video claiming he was "smelling the ball with his teeth"

As the post below, he lied by saying he was smelling it. You've been fervently defending him here, and this is pretty significant proof that he lied. It's a terrible thing for the game to see that, just the same as Ponting not walking after that HUGE edge, and when people claim catches that haven't carried. Oh, and Brad Haddin knocking the bail off Guptill's (I think?) off peg.

I am not defending him, I am questioning your behavior. I am trying to be as polite as I can and keeping it civil. As I said I am still resisting taking the bait and making it a video posting competition.

Personally I see no issue with my behaviour, just take one look at the way he conducts himself and you should see that that is not the actions of a cricketer, nor of a decent, self-respecting human being. He's not the only cricketer, I think Ponting is no better, in fact he runs Afridi extremely close in the moron stakes. It's just my views on the man (for want of a better word).

I think you guys are a little too self-righteous. Probably you are still in school or university.

Gross generalisation. I'm at University. However that doesn't make me self-righteous. I could go the other way and say most people in jobs are self-righteous because they have jobs, and look down on the unemployed/unable to work, because they don't have jobs and are therefore somehow inferior.
I shall go no further on this, as it will most likely get out of hand.

CD - Yes, yes it was! I do apologise!

BACK ON TOPICS.

It does seem quite strange that he changes his lid more than Beckham used to change his hair-cut, maybe that's his idea of squad rotation?

Tumo: My school, university comment was directed at your age not work status. I thought like you do right now once (certainly not long ago).

Probably not a good example. I will rise to your bait.

[RANT]Those who choose not to work, and sponge off the state rather than are put out of work due to cutbacks, etc, are indeed, as you say, inferior and scum of the earth. The reason for this is that I as a tax payer have to pay for them to live in a house, get benefits, use the NHS, and sit at home doing nothing but breed, creating further generations who do not get a good start in life and have poor role models, so find it very hard to get out of the "ghetto". This is not self righteousness. This is frustration with having to pay for laziness. Cut them off and make them work for a living so they *must* contribute. If they claim that they shouldn't be left in poverty, inform them that they chose to do that and that there are ways to avoid it. Benefits are not for these people. They are a safety net for those who need them.

No sir, your point is very much not valid and needs some rethinking.
[/RANT]

If I was to suggest that disliking a player or other intently was the same level of self righteousness I would be talking tosh because they have no support from me financially or otherwise.

I think TomTek should send him a lid so he completes the full set :)
