Best Softs
« on: March 22, 2011, 09:46:13 PM »

Just wondering what peoples views are on the best softs available. Like Laver and Scat etc are the best bats and Ayrtek is the best helmet. What make/brand of softs do you think offer the best protection and performance/looks etc

Kook are well renown to produce good softs, as are Puma, but I love this years' GN Legend gloves, but haven't tried any pads on.

Like Kookaburra softs especially the gloves Ice 850 as like the sausage style rather than modern style.(just my preference)

I am using Mongoose Super Premium pads and they are very comfortable and fit well. The only drawback is that the inside of the top hat feels a bit like plastic due to the material used to achieve the color and chrome effect.

Puma Iridium, Trick LE and Kinetic gloves are the best.

I have used all of Pakistan leading brands top of the line softs and the best ones in Pakistan (top ones are) MB Malik Bubber Sher.

I have used Newbery, Salix, Kookaburra, SS and GM softs outside Pakistan and the best ones here are SS and GM's

Ayrtek elite are the best I have used for comfort and protection

Pads my aero p1's are the best I have used but out of the more traditional the ayrtek elites tick all the boxes

Plus you cannot go wrong with toms customer service

Glad people like the softs, hard to get across until people actually wear them rather than judging them on looks alone.

Customer service is all part of the Ayrtek experience :)

I love my hawk x10 batting pads, i find them really comfy, and they sit really low for a normal sized pad, which being 6ft 2 is a godsend!
