I think several collapses for India mean Pakistan will have to worry less about their brittle batting. As long as they are focused, things are going to remain positive.

And its the bowlers for me who will win the cup, batsmen are crucial but we have seen 338 getting chased coz of week bowling.
Bangalore was the flattest wicket in living history, it could've rivaled Multan... Additionally India's best bowling combination wasn't used in the tied game.

The so called batting collapses occurred when India where when 267-1 vs SA and 305-3 vs England. Both scores are far too many for the brittle Pakistani batting line up.

Used pitch for the first semi, good luck with that NZ!

i think a slow pitch suits NZ more. if they bat first and get to 250, i am sure they will defend it.

Pakistan's two best bowlers Afridi and Gul aren't very successful vs India. Pakistan's batting is very brittle

Fair call.

On the same note, while Pakistan are susceptible to collapses in the batting department the Indian bowling attacks two seniors (Zaheer and Harbhajan) haven't got the greatest of numbers against Pakistan either.

Regardless of result if Pakistan play well it should be a very good match!

The great thing in hitting is, not to be half-hearted about it; but when you make up your mind to hit, to do it as if the whole match depended upon that particular stroke.

Indeed, NZ looked as though they were going well then there was a collapsa and SL did well in the end to bowl them out.

It'll be tough for NZ to win this game, however SL could be a batsman down in Matthews as he went off limping gingerly.

The lad McKay played as a Pro at Arbroath a few years ago, had some serious gas when I played against him.

I can see there being a bit more spice to tomorrows game

But pitch seems a road plus a not very potent nz attack pretty boring but at least does not make us look as bad

It's a scrap now, especially if NZ can prise one more out in the next ten runs.

Yup - not quite a proper scrap, but a lot more tense than expected. Makes you wonder what could have happened on Saturday had there been 30 more runs and an early SL wicket....

So the big one starts in 10mins, India won the toss and are batting first.

Massive game, Still feel as though there could be an upset today though.

Think shoaib should be playing but nice touch to make it a public holiday in Pakistan shows you how big it is

How the hell has Ashwin been dropped and Harbhajan retained? Bhajji doesn't ever look like taking wickets...
