I havent done it myself but a friend of mine is back tomorrow from his 2nd winter away in Oz. I believe both times have been arranged by contacts (either his own or other people at the club we play at). Worth doing a bit of research into visa rules of any country you are interested in, as this can affect what work options you may have etc

I played in Perth WA for a season. I went on the cricket aus website decide where you want to go then click on the local clubs in that area. Most have email addresses. I emailed them my cricketing cv. Wait for the replies and then pick Which one you want. I emailed a contact a the club I went too for a while, checked progress over the season etc

Played wastca league. League below waca league. Pretty good standard. Also played rep sides and played the under 21 aides of the waca league. You can email alot of leagues. I got a few waca clubs reply and a few metropolitan league clubs. Metro clubs played on artificial wickets so didn't see the point in going all that way for that.

Just put on what u do, who u play for, if you coach, cricketing acheivements, high scores/ best figures.

I managed to get part time work as well in a working holiday visa. Valid for 12 months I think.

Cricket.com.au then get involved. Click on each state and then should be a list of clubs on there

saved up before i went. got cheap rent  as stayed with the 1st captain. just gotta make sure you go with some funds already there. worked part time. prob spend £150 a month more than i earnt so wasnt too bad. loved every minute out there. i emailed approx 40-50 clubs. got abut 10-12 replies back

http://www.wastca.com.au/common/pages/public/iv/clubs.aspx?

thats the link to the league i played in, all contacts are there. if you dont fancy perth then cricket aus website. click on the state logos approx half way down the page. should open up a new page. each state page is slightly different but you should be able to find the leagues that are available then a contact list. if not on there just google the league and there will be a contact page there.

Are you pretty much thinking of going to Oz? Same mate who has been there 2 years in a row was very close to going to SA instead, meant to be cheap to live in SA compared to Oz

If you wanted a job with a charity related to cricket and to play, I have some contacts in Jamaica.

Could also put you in touch with people for Uganda and Afghanistan!
