I saw a Legend in SCS in Taunton, it was 2lbs 9oz but had a terrible pick up. Was not impressed with it!

It certainly feels the part. If I had both the money and the talent to justify the purchase the bat would be mine. And having tapped it with the mallet I feel I'm well positioned to comment.

Nice piece of wood, big for the weight but sadly let down by the little details that can be easily overlooked in a mainstream factory. It could probably be remedied by a competent batmaker but call me fussy, I'd want a symmetrical bat for £330.

Maybe it's the new version, with an offset spine, the "Legend: Edge".... ;)
