My Nifty New Ayrtek Suitcase
« on: April 01, 2011, 05:40:18 PM »

Took delivery of this rather nice bag today, bloody huge! It's one of the new ones that were stuck in customs for what seems like years.

My first purchase from Tom and he was a diamond, ordered yesterday morning and came whilst at work today. Very pleased with it, loads of room, love the padded bat pockets on the side which are great space savers.

Not great pictures but you get the general idea. Managed to get pads, 2 x gloves, 2 x keeping gloves in the side pocket, keeping pads, towel, balls, thigh pads, other stuff and will get 2 pairs of boots plus that top pocket for your helmet.

If you need a bag and don't buy this, there is something wrong with you. Simple.

Enjoy

looks a good bag, i need a new one, my current one's too small for my batting and keeping kit, how much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking?

Standard website cost mate, £66.99 plus £8ish quid next day delivery. Considering you drag it round the county with you for half the year plus winter nets etc, not a bad price. Buy cheap, buy twice as my mum always said!

They are well worth it I have one of the new ones but it was not my first purchase off Tom  ;)

The 3 wheel addition is good I think, I didn't have a prototype version but given a bag that large it seems very stable. Well chuffed

Lovely looking bag - could easily fit some of my team mates into it.......which could be a rainy day scenario :D

Just what the majority of us forum members need though - massive bags for the ridiculous amount of kit we'll never use :D

I have it standing up in the corner now so yes mate, it does the job!

I don't have any gear in it, just 47 gripping cones and a chevron

I have the new one and it is a good bag. Loads of room, It does stand upright but does lean forward when stood upright as I think the feet are positioned a little too much towards the middle of the bag. For a match day bag it is spot on.

Got my bag earlier too, much better than the first version and now lives up to Ayrtek standards :)

Glad ur all happy with them, still got some in stock and will reorder a new batch soon....feedback from the 1st batch really helped with improving the design.

I'm sure there is still room for improvements but don't want to spoil u too much otherwise I'll never sell u next seasons ;)
