The joys of the 'I'm leaving' post. Always puzzled me that. If for whatever reason you have decided to no longer be part of a forum fair enough, but why not just slip away, stop posting and not log in? Why does there always have to be a 'I'm leaving' thread or in this case, a post? Is it in a vain hope that when reading it everyone will reply 'please don't go we love you'? Because I don't get it. Never have.

Ah well.

Just say it like I see it, rather than saying what the voices in my head tell me to say.

To me that is a bit like the kid in the park who, when upset by something, makes a big deal of picking his football up and storming home. When I look at the goodbye post above, all I see typed is 'lookatmeyouwantmetostayreallyhowwilltheforumsurvivewithoutme'.

Typical and justified response which I find humourous:

Careful the door doesn't hit your (No Swearing Please) on the way out.

Edit: The only way something similar can be more pathetic/funny is when the thread/post is followed up by a pm/email to the mods asking that their account be deleted.
