I see so many pre meditate the sweep then have no where to go and look awful but then again I don't look pretty when playing
who in league cricket then get triggered by the umpire who is giving you out for playing a rubbish shot...

Prefer to try + hit straight + move feet rather than rely on sweep as one season got in habit of sweeping too much

agree with that mate i tend to think getting to the pitch is more important or playing late

I noticed one thing in England we tend to do is try to force the it and i have noticed why do most people play off the font foot to spin instead of waiting and playing late of the back foot.

Maybe i'am a short (No Swearing Please) but i see people just forward press to spinners and not move from that position

For me playing spin is about footwork and manipulating the crease

I'll sweep if it's a scoring shot, i.e. if there is no square leg or midwicket where I could get 4 or 6 for my shot. If the shot would only be worth 1 then I will use my feet and hit straight down the ground

The best shot is the hit it at the keeper pull watch them dive for cover
