The 42 grainer
« on: April 11, 2011, 04:02:41 PM »

All this talk of Lavers has become boring. I wasn't going to share this with the forum as it would trigger off another 'bats with lots of grains are rubbish' thread like happened the last time I bought a bat with lots of grains.

However here you are. 42 grains. Not perfectly spaced by really, who cares?

I bought it from 'Uncle Ben's Cricket shop' which is fairly local to me. I'm told it won't take long to prepare, it is ready in 9 minutes.

Enjoy!

Ya know, I actually was going to do that but I haven't got any  :D

And before the resident pedants point it out, there are actually 48 grains on view.

Me. Twice.

Fact of the day, it is incredibly difficult to place grains of rice on a cricket bat without them rolling off.

The bat in the picture is a Laver but I let them make all the decisions. What do you guys think?
