Just wondering what people would recommend between these two pairs of boots, seen as my gel advance 2's have given me blisters :(

Cheers fella's

if your a bowler, go for the speed menace, bit more heavier, but far more support

hi mate,

I haven't actually used a pair myself but a few people have said they had the same issue with the advance 2's. They have also said that the same issue is not evident with the advance 3's as they do not have the suede heel.

As fair as choosing between the two I can't be much as haven't used either  ;)

I open batting and bowling mate, so trying to find a happy medium!

Cheers wrighty! Im just a bit unsure of which ones to go for, as the nike ones are nice and i wouldn't mind trying them, but i also know that asics don't really do a bad pair of boots!

I used both Asics and Nike Air Zoom Openers last year, the Asics gave me blisters as they did almost everyone else so I purchased the Nike's as I knew they produced a quality/comfortable trainer but tbh I was disappointed with them, they were heavy and not very comfortable at all but of course that is a personal opinion ...... I went back to my ever reliable Puma Ballistics and shall more than likely stick with them this year.

For me Nike boots are the best brand on the market and the new versions are superb and an improvement on last years model which were might fine to start with.

I just found that they were very stiff and uncomfortable around my ankles even after i had broken them in, im sure Nike would have improved there 2011 range.

I've got some Puma Tricks.

I think they're a good all round shoe so far, obviously I haven't worn them a lot but they seem comfortable from the off. They feel as though they'll offer decent stability for bowling as well.

this years adidas are very good, the lite version come as full spike, which would obviously be useful if youre a bowler as well as a batsman. Theyre quite sturdy too, but are also quite light
