Edward may i ask a question please

Why do you not sell the same pads to the public as you do to the pro's is if for brand recognition as i understand there a advertising size your not allowed to break.

Thank you for your time Sir

When I have MD after my name in company emails, I will start drinking single malt.

Not missed one yet this season. Suprised Aidy Lewis is having a nightmare, whilst Taylor seems to have remembered how to play the game

Adrian certainly didn't turn up last night, but he's poised in 5th, so not so shabby. As for The Power, simply the Greatest There Has Ever Been.

Well done James, Barney & Gary last night too

well i see the side stripe i understand that your only allowed so much advertising on your pads in the first class list a professional arena.

Why not sell the same pads to the general public or is it to do with brand recognition Sir.

Sorry about the spelling writing..

The players issue don't have Limited Edition etc printed on the wings either.

I think I would rephrase the question "Why are the players not allowed to wear the magnificent designs that are made available to the public?"

We set out to design a coordinated range that we believe best suits the needs of the cricketer and the marketplace, and that then gets regulated by the powers that be.

Just the way it is, I guess!

Kind regards

Edward

Yep, I agree with you on the catalogue and web illustrations of the d3O pads. However, these were pre-production and for production, additional vertical ribs were used which much improves the look and feel of the pads.

Kind regards

Edward

I thought something was different about them in this photo!

Hi Liam - no we haven't particularly changed our sizing specs. Are you sure the LE's weren't OSM compared to Mens?

Kind regards

Edward

The LE's were definitely Mens, I also tried on some of this years 909 D30 pads in Mens and it felt the same. I have also seen this with other brands

I thought I would drag this up - I have helped myself to a set of 2011 909 pads (£44) and Original gloves (£40) in the sale - some pretty decent prices for this stuff about... :) got some free GM trackie bottoms with them too.

Just need to test out a GM thigh pad and I will be all set to go ;)

Deal of the day... http://www.sportsdirect.com/gunn-and-moore-original-limited-edition-batting-gloves-859274

Original L.E. gloves £32 posted!! :) just got some of these too.

http://www.sportsdirect.com/gunn-and-moore-original-limited-edition-bag-859278 looks pretty cheap too!

I paid £39 for the bag mid season off kickback sports and for the money it's pretty good, only used it about 6 or 7 times though so I wish I'd waited for this sale.

Still very tempted by the GM LE gloves but keep holding on to see if any other better offers like a end of season sale from H4L, redback or any of the other brands.

humm - I think they may have sold out of the gloves as I haven't had a confirmation email yet of the order and they are not on the website any more - it usually comes in a couple of minutes, but this has taken an hour or so already...  :(  :(

I've got both this years LE pads and gloves, and had last years, excellent quality and so comfy!
