Handy little 54* last night, chasing 87 to win. Felt really good hitting the ball straight! Thats 3 fifties in my last 4 innings, the other being 5* on Saturday. Starting to find form now!

London and East trial today (formally know as south of england) went OK, need a couple of big knocks over the next 3 weeks or so to really push my case forward and get to bunberry!

Finally, now that I have had enough time at the middle I am starting to slowly find some batting form.

They scored 264 off 45 overs, all of our top 4 made starts but nobody produced that big innings we needed, I came in at number 3 and scored 20 before a ridiculously lucky catch(He took about 3 attempts before it finally stuck in his hands...) sent me back to the pavilion. We got all out from about 170 which isn't bad for us especially with our skipper on holiday. (We were averaging 11.6 runs per wicket in our first 4 games..)

Top scored with 59 today, won chasing 230... I love winning!!!!

Although I copped one in the box and it wasn't pleasant... New box needed

Also Got a decent run out whilst fielding in the deep, decent day

Got a half decent score today. 37 opening for the first time this season. Don't think I have ever timed the ball as well. Should have got a lot more!

Sat with the pads on for ages as one of our openers made 93 and the other one was out second last ball for 191.

Bowled 5 tidy overs defending it but they were never in the hunt so it got pretty dull from fairly early on.

Out c&b for 16 Pratt shot but bowled 7-1-21-2 and got took off for a lad to go at 8 rpo but we got a winning draw so all good in the end

Got a winning draw today, I officially HATE draws, whats the point in blocking out for the best part of 45 overs.
Took three wickets and a quick 59 not out at the end on a personal side of things.

Only caught 2 of the 3 chances that came my way today so not best pleased but team chased down 226 easily with 6 wickets to spare. Came in at 5 and finished the game off with 26*, 6 dot balls in a row then 3 fours in a row was quite nice.
Good game overall, oppo were a nice bunch and knew 2 of them as played at that club before, unfortunately one of the guys i knew too a hit to the head at non-strikers end as our skipper tried to throw down the stumps but missed, the guy then came in again with a helmet and seemed ok which was good

Welshpool mate, they lost two early on, and the number 4 and 1 had a reasonable partnership, but after that just tried blocked out, got them 8 down, i got a twenty ball 59, who did you play?

We got 193-6 then had them 29-4 but they had a middle order partnership and rain came and knackered the ball but they got 183-9 in the end

I take it you won the toss as they always bat first but are boring boring boring lol

We have Nalaka back now, he got 60 odd after only being in the country about 48 hours
We have them next week but away on holiday so ill be back to play you in two weeks!
