Well that was a ridiculous match. We batted first and lost a wicket first ball and on a pitch that had a ridiculous variation of bounce, we could not cope. I came in at number 9 and scored 6* before seeing 3 batsmen get out in the space of 4 balls to leave us all out on 70-ish. They chased it down losing only two wickets and made us look stupid... Not happy.

Will try and persuade the skipper to play me at 5 or 6 in the next match, as I would like to bat with people who having batting ability, not just there to fill the numbers...

My 6 today bet it lasted longer than anybody's 20 overs trying to see off opening bowlers battered + bruised got bruiesed shoulder + took one on the grill

got 10 today opening for the 2nd team (normally a 3rds player). got trapped lbw to one that stayed low, should have got forward. bagged a stumping but we lost by 7 wickets.

I guess I'll continue the low scoring trend of the day.

Got out for 1 caught at cover... playing early to one a touch wide of offstump on a crumbling wicket. Left us 20-4 and although the tail gritted through we were never gonna win chasing 177.

Not a good day for us all really, between the 7 of us we scored a mighty 38 runs with only 1 of us getting into double figures... Not a good day for us Batsmen it seemed (I was going well until 3 of my team-mates decided to try and hit the ball past silly mid-off, 2 of them caught by him and the 3rd by the bowler leaving me stuck at the other end with no more partners)

Another shocker for me! I was so high in the order I got a nose bleed.

Normal service resumed after last week. We scored 375-5 in 45 overs and bowled the oppo out for 37 in 11 overs.
