Normal service resumed after last week. We scored 375-5 in 45 overs and bowled the oppo out for 37 in 11 overs.

And your performance was? Just curious

26 against Wembley in the 3s today. Decent, happy with that, especially as I riled their 60 year old captain who was bowling by lofting drives past his fielders. Started calling me a fu*king lucky bast*** and all... :D
LOVE IT :)
We were the only team to win out of our club, though a bit annoyed as I came in 4, but 30 overs had gone. I stayed in for a while, it was off 32 balls with 4 4s, but gave my wicket away trying to push the rate... :(

5 league games, not batted or bowled in any of them. Thought about sticking my pads on today and having a bit of a net, but when you have guys scoring 100 in 46 balls and 30 in 9 balls (our no 11 promoted up the order), your just happy to watch them :-)

Got a cup game tomorrow and we aren't as strong so looking forward to doing something when it matters!

Good win for us today, other side got 183 off 35. I bowled like an about (insert does here). Chased it 8 down and I got 51*. Bowling awful atm, but batting well so can't complain to much really.

got a audacious lbw decison . in the 2nd over of the daywhen i was no less than halfway down the pitch. absolute joke and im sick of it its happening every game to me now. umpire was a blind (No Swearing Please) and it ruined my weekend. then i watched everyone else in our team get runs and there team chase it down easy.

pissed off

My 6 today bet it lasted longer than anybody's 20 overs trying to see off opening bowlers battered + bruised got bruiesed shoulder + took one on the grill

We had a guy 9* off 25 overs for the 2s :L

We finished our game chasing 158 in about 25 overs for the loss of 3. One guy getting 39 from 19, another getting 48* from 43 and our opener getting 56* from 69. Max points :D

Great game today. Started off badly as the oppo hit 284, on a slow tricky wicket. In reply I opened and decided to have a bit of a whack, cleared the pavillion (at Chard CC) on the 5th ball of the innings and went on from there! Ended up hitting my first league ton (108), with 17 fours and 4 sixes and we chased down the runs 9 wickets down! Brilliant win, really pleased with the ton, get me on the honours board Buzz!

Congrats to you both on breaking the low scoring trend of the day!!

How can I politely tell our captain he doesn't hit the seam enough and shouldn't be opening the bowling?

If you find out let me know as I need to tell our skipper not to bring spin on in the 30th over of a 40 over game with small boundaries when the oppo are set

Me too please, I'm not entirely sure there is a way to tell my sunday captain that a) he shouldn't be in the team, and b) he shouldn't be on the midwicket boundary the whole game, and c) he's a clueless idiot! plus d) he shouldn't be picking bloody U13/s14s in the 1's and sking an opening bowler and an opening bat to go in the 2ss!!! :o

The exact same thing happened to us in a 45 over game yesterday, I felt so sorry for our spinner who went for 10 an over!

I went for 5 an over doing this but was not happy as got a few edges but our skipper is tactically inept but he is a club man so gets in but he is off next sat so hopefully will be different
