My first game of the season. Kept wickie, didn't have a sniff all game apart from a successful run out. They made 208. We were all out for around 80ish. Batted at 6 and scored 11 b4 getting caught having a slog.

Got beaten by a team who haven't lost for 3 years today. They got 250-10 and we got 180-8 in 45.

I bowled 1 over for 2 runs -.- and got 21 off of 40 balls opening.

as i've mentioned before i've moved up a team to the 2nds this season for my wicketkeeping, but the standard is higher and it's a lot harder to bat than in the 3rds. i'm a natural opener so i'm opening the batting - played the anchor role today (37 off 122 balls) and was glad that i stuck it out for 35 overs before finally getting out.

i definitely have to improve on finding a way of getting a single when the bowling is disciplined, but the concentration was there :)

Who then pulled out too :(
Got 13 today, got out off the under, inside edge by a screamer of a one-hander by the keeper, low to his left.
Deprived of a 6 due to a lack of rope, and played 3s cricket without a sightscreen.
Plus we got smashed - utterly dreadful (club total of 1 point out of a total 50 possible :()...

:p Joking mate ;)
Very miffed. I got sledged, they were just annoying, but I tried a very expansive cover drive and got caught by a proper screamer. I was stunned he held it and didn't walk in case it hadn't carried, but it did, so I was fine and went.
Should have had a 6 as I said :( and I should have batted better..Annoyed. It happens though hopefully I can get some runs tomorrow. :)
