dissapointing result yesturday. Bowled top of the league side out for 101. i took 2 catches. We proceeded to mess up the run chase. i went in at 28/4, put on about 40 with the other batsmen we were looking good and i played over a straight one :( we were all out 7 runs short, i top scored with 19 lol

Scored 45 in a total of 180, perhaps 40 or 50 short. They chased them down comfortably with only one of our bowlers not donating a 4 ball an over. Somehow our 1st team has gained good players and our 2nd team has lost good players, I'm not sure if that's actually possible?

Bowled out for 106 on a damp pitch, opposition bowled out for 63 when conditions improving.

Yeh first win of the season.

Annoying got 11 feeling good then drove at one that swung back in & took off stump.  Surely someone is going to pay soon.

they had an ex county 1st teamer playing for them, he ended up with 86no

Had a good game yesterday, Got 2 wickets (both caught and bowled) and had 2 catches put down. Then came in at number 9 with the score on 120ish brought us level on 181 with a 4 and then drove the ball to a deepish mid off needing 1 to win

Hardest day watching from the sidelines yet. We batted 1st, posted 178 all out with some poor shot selections. Oppo got it with 4 overs to spare 179-6.

Had a game out in banjo country and a place called Hexton. Our skipper stuck them in, had them 30-3 then the game was taken away by a guy who came in an smacked 130odd at a good rate and took the game away and somehow got them to a declaration at after 49 overs at 306-7. Didn't help that our fielding was pathetic, dropping 8 catches including the centurion 4 times. (If we had caught even half our chances they would have only got 180ish and we could have won.) Wicket was pretty (No Swearing Please) as well, tennis ball bounce when it was short and rolling along the ground every now and then!

They batted themselves out of the game, no way we were going to chase 300 down, scraped to 200-7 in the end and took 13 points i think. I got 9 (and dropped a catch) but felt brilliant after feeling the worst ive ever felt for the last couple of weeks. Was going well until I got one that cut back in and hit the stumps an inch above the ground from on a length  >:(

Well we improved on last weeks effort of all out for 18 chasing 170. Yesterday managed all out for 83 chasing 248 lol.

Dry spell for runs continues! Started the season decent with 40, 48, 21 and have followed it up with scores of 4 and then yesterday my first duck in god knows how long! Very dissappointing. Keep picking up a couple of wickets a game but leaking runs big time so s***!!

You either love or hate the game at the moment im a hater! Hopefully can start turning things around today!

Restricted the opposition to 170-9, off 40! We bowled and fielded really well, but it did help that they were poor.
We won it with about 4 overs to spare, was looking forward to opening the batting, but the normal opener had been drafted in to replace the opening bowler (why??) who dropped out, so ended up batting 5. Went in needing 10 to win, and hit a stylish 5*. Bit frustrating as the oppo didnt have a lot of bowling really. But a wins a win!

Scored 5 batting at 4, in a total of 145-8(45). Pitch was an absolute minefield for 35 overs then after tea, flattened out and played like a road, oppo knocked them off with 5 down and 8 overs to go. Would have been different if we had taken our catches, getting fed up with playing at an awful standard, against awful opposition. Shouldn't have moved clubs on a promise of playing decent cricket.

Played in Sunday league game today, oppo smashed 270 odd from 40 overs. In reply, we were 124-0 from 15 overs, smashing their bowling around (Which included a Wiltshire Minor Counties opening bowler), and ended up chasing the runs down in the last over, great game! I hit 58, 8 fours 2 sixes :)
