My game was off so turned out for the 3rds. Took a stumping, also had another and a run out not given - both were miles out.

Opened the batting, scored 30 before getting run out backing up.

They scored 197 in 45 overs and we got bowled out for 188 in the last over.

BIG 20 points yesterday.....

we lost the topss and got inserted on a wet sticky dog, we lost an early wicket i come in at 11-1 hit a nice 56 then guided one to gully, was really annoyed with myself as there was still 20 overs to go when i got out and thought i was gonna get a real biggy.....  anyway we posted 170 and then bowled them out for 97... HAPPY AS LARRY :)

Won our cup game yesterday. I opened and got 8 off 12 on a very soft muddy pitch. Got bowled by a swinging ball that stayed low.

Got 2 run outs as keeper and conceded 3 byes

Most dissapointing game I have played in ever i think. We lost, batted first and posted 131 all out, i was triggered massively LBW for 6 (tracking the bowler who was bowling huge inswingers). They got it 8 wickets down. We had a caught behind no balled 10 seconds after we caught it, one not given off the glove that ballooned up to short cover (umpire said 'she' couldnt see it) and worst of all, 4!! dolly catches put down, CATCHES WIN MATCHES.
I would go on about the umpiring, but, that is life, just wished it was the same for both sides.

Rant over.

Indeed Canners, there were a few lads who was on a stagdo in the canaries. Back to the 2's next week i guess to find my cricket feet.
Feel good with the bat, although i only got 6 this week and 36 last week, both times LBW, but feel peeved at this weeks decision. I can feel a big score next week. :D
Well done for your win yesterday mate.

Fairly easy win yesterday, we bowled first and the oppo made a very slow 199 from 50 overs... We knocked them off in 32 overs with 2 wickets down, i only made 7....

Had a nice friendly today at Knaresbrough Forest. Batted first and knocked up 253-9 in 40 overs on a baking hot day. Simmy got a duck, Liam a rapid 50 odd and I scratched around for a 20* at the end. They didn't offer much resistance except for what I presume was a first team batter who scored a quickfire 87 batting at 9. They finished on 162 ao, with a wicket for me and 2 wickets for Simmy with his leg spinners :-)

Not a good day for us.  First game i have played for the Sunday 1st X1.  Opposition batted first, both openers scored centuries and at the end of their 40 overs they had put on 355 :(  We managed 220 odd in reply.  I got out for 13.  Caught at long on  :(

Got called up last night to play for the Sunday team in the quarter final of the Norfolk Sunday league cup.

Was insanely hot, we had drinks on every 15 overs as nobody could deal with the heat. Dropped a catch and then came on to bowl when they were on about 148-9 off 35 overs, got hit for for 6 twice before getting him middle stump next ball. We thought keeping them to about 160 was good, then we had a dreadful start and lost our top 3 with less than 20 on the board.

I came in at number 5, scored 3 quick runs before getting bowled by a peach of a delivery. Exactly the same delivery as how I got my wicket. They bowled us all out for 67 off 24 overs, with our number 4 top scoring with 12 not out off 15 overs.

One game called off and losing the other, not the best of weekends and I now have a massive headache from being out in the sun...

Yeah I could probably use that too. Played a weak side yesterday, I went out and opened, got 12 off 7 balls with a huge hooked 6 lol. Got out to a toilet bowler with the only good ball he bowled, nicked off. It was blazing hot as well :(
Then saw an 83 and 101. :( Just to rub it in.
Need to be more patient, I find when I'm out of nick I bat like I did yesterday.
Kept well though, only 3 byes.

Batted and got a nice GD on a dive of a wicket, pitched half way so I've roccked onto my back foot to pull it and it didn't get up so I was out LBW, and I bowled 6 overs for 24 for 1 wicket up a hill in what felt like sahara desert weather. Got my wicket with a rank ball that was hacked on, won by 100 odd runs in end
