Oh and btw I asked him about Mongoose going into administration, and he said yeah they did, however the company was bought out and is now OK.
I think...

We did that a couple of weeks ago and got smashed.
We got smashed in the Sunday League again today. Made 214 all out in 40.5 overs and they chased it down in 35.5.
They had an overseas, Mokoena, who was Mongoose sponsored. He had a bloody nice MMi3 and CoR3 :)
And hit 60 off about 30 balls. :(

I got a duck today, very disappointed. >:( Form's just gone down the toilet as of late. Majorly.
We played Radlett, and were playing their Sunday 2s, with loads of 2s players in the side, but we still got hammered.
NOT GOOD :(

Grant Mokoena - nice guy.  Had a few beers with him when we played up there in the league the other week.  He's a pretty decent bowler by all accounts.

not had a great week with the bat - spooned a catch to cover on wednesday and the same again on sunday when well set. saturday i got bowled by a yorker from a lively opening bowler who softened me up with a bouncer to the gloves in the first over. i half-expected it every over from then on, and it never came again!

Yeah he was a nice friendly guy, he bowled pretty quick and fairly accurately and was a very clean hitter of the ball, hitting 56 out of the 60* runs he made in boundaries (5 4s and 6 6s).
Which team of theirs were you playing? ???

We were playing their 3s.  He plays in their 2s (Shane Burger is the overseas in their 1s)

Yeah I thought that, they seemed to be a very strong club. Apparently they had no-one higher than their 3s playing but obviously maybe that was a white lie...
I'm assuming it was your 1s playing as well? ???

Maths check Simmy, 8 an over for 6 overs is 48. They got 208, which means you came in at 160. You were bowled out for 140. Get a grip  :D

Well technically he came in at 161, with 209 being the winning target.. ;)

Just looked at the scorecard on your website.  Daniel Cohen definitely wasn't playing as he is in America coaching football.  Might have been his younger brother Simeon who is a left arm spinner?

Most of the rest of them are 3rds/4ths/5ths players there so it was a real mix (Mokoena apart)

Yeah mate I did the scorecard, but was tired out of my mind so couldn't be bothered to search for the players. It was Simeon, I remember umpiring with him batting.
A guy they called Warney was the opening bat but Wright (very good young player aged 13 I think) played well for 51.
Well we did get battered, and we had 6 2s players and a 1s player in there (iirc...)
Might change the names now ;)

The opening bat would be Rob Millard who is their 5th XI captain.
