Good win Yesterday in a Sunday game. Oppositions openers both made hundreds and they declared 5 or 6 down for 296 from 61 overs. In reply we got the runs 7 down with 2 balls left in the game (we faced 13 overs less than they did). Cracker of a game, chipped in with 79 opening, got out bowled trying to prod a ball into a gap to retain the strike....haha serves me right really!

On Saturday, I got out in the second over for 6 to a fluke of a catch. Then had to sit and watch my team out on 313-7! We then bowled them out for 130. I took a triple wicket maiden, without getting a hat trick. W . W W . .

Yesterday, I was so hungover after going out to celebrate Saturday's win. Opened the batting and batted for 2 and a half hours. I was on 69 when I was stumped and through away a hundred. We fininshed on 262-8 and had them 9 down for 180 at the end.

My last 4 Sunday innings have been 49,48,63,69. Averageing 32! But only 14 on a Saturday!

Won by 4 wkts Saturday. 2-45 off 11. Got their only decent bat out with a corker. Got 12 from seven, caught slip.
Sunday. Lost by 12 runs. Got 2 for 16 off 8. 72 from 79 before being sent on my way by our mentally challenged umpire (no jokes he has learning difficulties). V frustrating

Had a nightmare loss on Saturday against a team we needed to beat. I got 13 off 8 with the bat before a horror shot. 1-25 with the ball with 2 hard chances dropped.

Didn't play Sunday as went to watch Iron Maiden at the NIA. One word - Amazing.

Lost our semi final today. Had two paid umpires. I took a catch in the second over and got done twice for no balls....first time ever.

Was a wet day and we fielded in the rain until drinks and then were taken off and the game reduced to 30 overs. They got 178-8

I batted at 4 and got 6 off 5 until I inside edged onto my thigh pad and caught at square leg. We got 108-8

Had a decent game on Sunday. Didn't bowl although fielded well as we restricted the opposition to 150 off all out (Even when they had South African first class batsmen Jeandré Jumat http://www.espncricinfo.com/southafrica/content/player/239279.html who was averaging over 100 this season) Sadly their bowling line up was too good for us, and I came in for a swing, nearly got my head knocked off by their Pro who was returning the ball to the wicket keeper after he fielded it, and then I got bowled by that man again, Jeandré Jumat.

We did well considering most of their players play 5-6 leagues above most of our players on Saturday and they realised they were in so much trouble they had to bring on their pro to win them the game.

id rather not talk about it tbh mate ;)

nah we messed up another chase that we should have got, Wenty bowled very well, even though i creamed him for 2 4's in the 2nd over i faced him, he was bowling pretty sharp in duckers, i forget the no 1 rule (never go back at horndon) and got bowled by prykey was pretty frustrated..... then the rest followed

another game we should have won this season, it seems if me or Westy doesnt get any then no one else does either

how you been getting on ?

you creamed him for 2 4's? he only went for 9 runs in his spell, lol! Wenty always bowls good in duckers and can bowl a decent bouncer when he puts some effort in.
I have been playing 2's since coming back from my operation. Got 56 at Hadleigh couple weeks back although i should have made an easy ton, didnt get a bat last week as we won by 8 wickets. Took 2 screaming slip catches though.
Got a lovely trip to Leigh this weekend, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat fun.
