We won again today, cementing our place top of table! I scored 44 which means I havent passed 50 since the 9th of July

What a match today!

We bowled first, in the first over I took a catch at second slip that absolutely flew of our quick! I would love to see what my reaction time was! I ended up with 3 wickets and they hit 219-6.

I then opened with the skipper, we put on 127 for the first wicket! I used my new ayrtek bat for the first time and it was amazing! I got out for 59 trying to force the pace. We then collapsed and our skipper was out for 94! I had to play peace keeper after a deliberate no ball didn't best please our number 7! bat on the ground and gloves off situation. We needed 10 of the last over, ended up needed a six of the last ball to tie and our number 8 punch one down the ground that landed a foot over the line!

Cup final for me @10:30 so off to bed....after going out til the early hours last night I'm getting too old for these late nights!

Another bloody loss today... at Old Bristolians we scored 133. I got to 12, thought i was Usain Bolt and got ran out with a direct hit by a MILE! they chased them 6 down in 35-40ish overs....

Lost again. I bowled rubbish, "batted" even worse. But after several rum & cokes have decided, despite being 9th out of 10 teams, we are the best team in the league

Lost again chasing 211, went from 37-0 to 59-6. I batted 3 & blocked for 37 before getting tempted & dollying a catchup.

At least my form shows signs of improvement 31 last week & 37 yesterday.

Won today. All out 144. I got a golden duck, even better when I was hattrick ball... Bugger! We rolled them for 80 in reply, I took 8-3-15-3, and dropped my 9th caught and bowled of the season! I think there's actually something wrong with me, I've only dropped 1 in the outfield all season, and that was a diving effort over my shoulder, I reckon it's psychological. Or I'm not expecting it. Or something...

Won yesterday the oppo got 142-8 off there overs we were 120-0 then got them for 2 down in 33 overs but was not good as I can handle sledging or banter but constantly swearing at the batsmen with some serious abuse plus shouting at spectators to the state the umpire had to step in was pathetic a nice 7 not out for me

Got an away game for the county today against the champs who mostly play Liverpool prem so should be fun

Won our 4th game on the bounce today. I top scored with 38 (off 85 balls lol) in a total of 166ao. We bowled them out for 137, i got a decent catch and a run out too. Very good day!

Top of the table clash with us playing 3rd place. Despite the rain we opted to bat and scored 226-7 off 45. Pitch was doing plenty and Oppo probably had the best attack we've faced in the Wetherby League since we joined. We didn't have either of our opening bowlers available but backed our batters to pile on the runs and the guys batted well in tricky conditions. In reply (and much better conditions) they started well getting to 50 without loss and 90-1 but we slowed them down mid innings with our spinners. I picked up 3-37 off 12 bowling left arm darts, helped somewhat by a spot on the pitch that kept low :-) and our other spinner picked up 2-29. Having been a bit shoddy for the first half of the innings, we raised our game when it was needed and a couple of the guys took brilliant catches plus a great recovery to force a run out, oppo finished on 142-9 . Comfortable win in the end.

Crap weekend overall. 1 run on saturday then out plumb LBW, Then bowled 2 overs for 17 and got taken off. Then today bowled two overs again for around 14 then got taken off just as I started to get settled, didn't bat as we chased down 181 with the last 30 runs chased down as I was next in to bat.

Lost the county game today they got 288/9 off 50 I got 10-1-59-1 with 2 drop catches off my bowling which the one bat hit me for a few after being dropped

We got 164 all out with our opener getting 95 not out and motm I got 4 then got a shocker the ball hit both my thigh pads while attempting a pull so ump gave me out as two noises when bat was 6 inches above ball
