Professional's in your league this year ?

Any players on the forum that have big name professionals /overseas this year in there leagues ?
i have a fair few in mine , kyle hogg from lancs ,joe sayers from yorkshire and word on the street is that tino best has also been signed .

Normally just local pro's and unknown overseas in our league but this year Marcus North is apparently playing 4/5 games for a side in our league.

There is some ex zimbabwean bowling in our league this, Henry someone. And some silverwood bloke plays as well

hoylandwaine that is correct , also have joe sayers and john sadler ex derbyshire they got 370 on sat and lost  . i play for broad oak mate you ? we had wasim jaffer in it last year scored 2000 runs

Yeah that's one the one mate, plays for the team we play on opening day, hoping his professional game goes for full 5 days then he can't play

Which team has he signed for ? I know he was at the Fell a few year ago and was seen back in the NE a few weeks ago but it was just for a wedding!

Ahhh right yeah I can imagine Tino would do some damage with the ball.
I play at streethouse mate. There's some silly money knocking around in your league lol.

Chris silverwood is still going then... He must be nearly 40 now, I bet he's still bloody sharp as well

123* - We were told he's over for Chris Taylors wedding and will play a couple of games for the Fell...i'll believe it when i see it ;)

Yeah he is but he's essex coach as well, We also have Doug Hondo in the league. Ali cook plays the odd game for his old club apparently anyway

Silverwood is 2xi coach for essex and bowling coach at essex too ?

hahaha mate beleive me im not fancying facing tino lol There is stupid amount being spent this year lol lad called greg wood who played england under 19's and yorkshire who is a real player is getting paid 15 grand plus lol

I can believe it mate. I heard rumblings pedro Collins was playing at a club in hudds league for 9k and players like Craig White, Gerard brophy and rich pyrah all have pay for play contracts. Craig White was apparently offered £800 a game at wrenthorpe.
