Had a steady net with the bat this evening guys. Bad bits first:
Handle is a little thin (adding a nice thick grip) and the toe is flatter than all my other bats so felt weird at first.
Good bits:
Amazing pick up, feels very 'floaty' in the hands if that makes sense.
It's still feeling a little hard but boy does it go out the sweet spot.

Its a bat that rewards a stroke player rather than a slogger with it's concentrated hitting area and subtle profile, it took some getting used to (first 5 or 6 shots were all mis timed) as my blue room has a massive middle but once located the GM was rocketing the balls around the nets. It doesn't feel very forgiving, if you miss time a shot you know it but when you get it right the rewards are more than worth it

Nice use of the word floaty mate think I started something there ;)

Yes mate it is.

It really does feel floaty though. That may not be understandable for people but that's the only way I could describe how it felt

Sounds like a nice bat fella looking forward to seeing pictures, and GM do seem to be turning out some great bats lately, and as far as pick up goes and feeling floaty i know exactly what you mean i have seen Icon 707+ bats that only feel like they weigh 2.6 but weigh 2.11 and more in the shops. Let us know how the bat plays in the season to come.
