Put yourself in their position. If A offers you twenty quid to do something and B offers fifty for the same job, who are you going to do it for?

It's a shame when the small brands get outbid on the sponsorship front but you can't really blame the individual cricketers.

Many factors are involved with sponsorship of professional players and not just the fee so we will never know the reason why Jimmy has left mongoose. Don't see the attraction of Slazenger myself as a brand and i don't see the attraction of a bowler being sponsored by big brand, don't see many people going and getting slaz because Jimmy uses them.
