Kookaburra logos - Yes or No?
« on: April 25, 2011, 07:35:38 PM »

So, I will be getting a set of Kookaburra Ice 850 pads of of Talisman mid-week and am debating whether I want to keep the logos or not. On both sets of my previous Ricky Ponting pads I have taken the logos off well.

Old pads with logos

Old pads without logo

Do I get rid of logos when my new pads arrive?

Not that it's a massive deal at all, but spose you could take them off. The plainer the pads, the better but doesn't make that much difference really

I really like the Kookaburra logo's. I sent my old Kahuna bat in to Kookaburra last week to be stickered up in 2011 stickers.

i don't really see the point - just another thing to mention when you want to sell them on.

Look alot better without! What did you use to get the logos off mate? Tried acetone on my ice's and it just slightly faded.

firstly these are very good value mums and dads (especially from Mike!)
Secondly - once you get them you wont be able to stop yourself from wanting to remove the logo's.

if you are successful in removing the logos, I'll send you mine to do too!!

cant see why people want to remove the logo from pads, serves no point and a bit of a waste of time unless your a sponsored player i guess. why wast the time and effort they look great as they are.

They are going to a team mate with a pair of gloves for £30. Got a good deal from Talisman its only costing me £10 to change. Do the maths!

Buzz - I bought these as they are blue colour scheme to go with my Iridium 2011 gloves! I have removed logos successfully on two sets of pads so far. So may give it a go on these

I would have had a set of these if the top hats were not so big

I've found the top hats to be the smallest out of the lot!
