Im starting to hate this rain and uncovered pitches. For the third week in a row my matches have been called off!!

You guys need an artificial track John , PM me as I get great prices for matting out of Asia that would have people in Europe spew at how much they pay and have paid in the past.

Always the salesman eh!

Think my team are going to give it the go ahead, not ideal conditions, but better than no game at all! - The oppo are down from Norfolk so would feel bad cancelling.

There is nothing wrong with selling Ciaran when one can actually deliver.

Thanks for the offer but we cant install a artificial pitch at our ground as we only rent it off a school and it is used as a camoige pitch during the winter. I played on one in Midleton last weekend and it was a pitch of 2 halves. One end had lovely bounce and the other had no bounce . They paid €6,500 for it

We already have an artificial, but it is the sodden outfield that is the bigger problem!

We've got an artificial, not allowed to play league cricket on it, but play a lot of friendlies. Its absolutely rapid, and with a new ball it can be very dangerous lol

€6,500 is theft (atleast Robin Hood wore a mask).  Last I heard they moved Midleton cricket from the College to the rugby fields where one can get access past The Mill Wheel Pub.

Yeah they moved it to the rugby grounds. The strip is between two rugby pitches with the roughest outfield i have ever seen.

That is a disgrace. Looks like the best way for the college to promote cricket in Ireland, the clowns have done a complete U Turn. They laud over the glory days and still bow down to the muppets on the board.

Division 3 munster cricket is a disgrace anyway. 6 out of 8 matches so far have been called off mainly due to to player unavailability

Time to move clubs John. Leinster cricket is booming.
