Humm, as we are dreaming, if it were me, I'd wait until the Ayrtek lids have a proven negative impact on the sales of Masuri and Albion lids before it is worth selling up - then the pay cheque will be a load bigger :)

Lets be honest the market has been saturated since eveybody tom dick and harry started bringing there helmets out including one of the big company allowing another to share the same design and same maker..

We have all been waiting for the best helmet to take the mantel again maybe this is the one it certainly has gone alot further than the last Big great helmet design the Open Championship one Devon Malcolm and Darren Gough wore.

Good stuff Tom early days but it looking bloody good...

Most of the damage I see to faces is off badly timed shots coming off the bat into the face. Given the amount of effort that has normally gone into the heave preceding this, I'd question whether the ball speed is below 70mph....?

Secondly, on a number of the pitches I play on, I as a tall bowler, who now barely nudges 60, can get a ball to leap off just short of a length and regularly see batsmen have difficulty reacting in time. I think the shortest balls would probably be safe.

FORUM EXCLUSIVE for you....

The result of taking a direct blow from a jade dernbach bouncer at 80-90 mph. 4mm grade 5 titanium did it's job and kept the ball out in combo with the helmet fit and design :)

Looks like the Ayrtek has shown up other brands in their safety yet again!
