Newbery Cadbury
« on: May 10, 2011, 12:49:33 PM »

Just watching the Sussex game on SS1 and noticed Goodwins cadburry bat and recall people saying how rare and hard these are to get hold of? just wondered why this was as Murray is still using this gear?

also is there a story behind why its that colour? or is it just murrays favourite colour?

I have two bats with them on! One was a Goodwin and the other is an absolute gun of an AM bat I believe! Both are top quality which look soooo nice with the stickers.
I have one set of Cadbury stickers but am saving them for once I use and have my TK lam refurbed, as it deserves stickers like that!!

the TK lam from your good self! I am keeping the B52 stickers on it, but have just about finished knocking it in (it was partly knocked in already) so it's ready to start using in friendlies (obviously not allowed in Leagues matches!)
But the Cad stickers will definitely be reserved for the TK once it needs a refurb!

Tom - that Cadbury Goodwin bat feels lush fella! Have tapped it up and it feels yum! But you did rip the special lam off me! How is the rocket going fella?

yeh pretty well mate, think the middle is a bit high for me though so hoping the new...long awaited one will be better suited to my game :) needs knocking in though which means its being neglected....even with 10 bat mallets sat next to it!
