James Benning visiting Uzi sports tomorrow
« on: May 11, 2011, 07:11:54 PM »

James Benning is visiting Uzi sports tomorrow. He will be at our store between 12 and 2pm. James helped me to hand pick SS bats on my last visit to SS warehouse

Regards

Benning such a wasted talent. I believe he plays minor county now as no club gave him a contract which im very surprised about. Unfulfiled promise.

county player, opened the batting for surrey for ages, then moved to leitecshire and batted in the middle order, couldnt play the short ball, found out due to that.

steve waugh couldnt play the short ball and look at his record. you just need to duck and weave, a la robin smith style. . . .anyone remember him.

You need to watch Fire in Babylon mate absolute quality

Plus I know James well played with him through all surrey age groups to be fair used to put the short ball away well at youth level but was lethal when anything was pitched up

I love his answer to the burning question "will England retain the ashes" (note the date) and he said yes!

and Perry Crooke "he will almost certainly feature in this Summer's england one day plans".

I thought he was a decent player, but not an international.

Ali Brown however, was a whole different kettle of fish. He should have play 40 tests for england as well as 100 odi's. but what would I know. (and no I don't play for Cheam ;) )
