Bat brands gone by

Just been wandering what happened to certain bat brands I knew as kid growing up ?

For instance being an SA boy I remember Andrew Hudson sporting an Open Championship and an early day Kallis with a Lazer which I had a 3 star one of. What ever happened to these brands can anyone shed light on this?
