My ECB Special - Adidas Pellara

I ordered a Pellara County for the grand total of £44 incl. shipping.

The bat showed up this morning and much to my surprise I actually really like it. I ordered a county but got an elite,
I ordered one weighing 2.7.. The sticker came saying 2.7-2.8 so I assume it's in between don't have a scale at the moment. 7 Grains, nice coloring on the willow, a few small specks here and there but nothing major.









I got apparently a G1 willow bat when ordering a G3 for an absolute steal. :D

I bought an Elite 2 years ago, and trust me, it was no where that price and i must say your grains are alot better than what my Elite has to show.

Lucky so and so.  :D

You've done well there! Both of mine were County, although to be fair to them, they don't look particularly poor for Grade 3 willow.

If you were to stick it on ebay, you'd probably get around £150 for it given the price they normally go at!

I'm not entirely convinced by the shape of the Pellara though. What do you think of the "Toblerone on a plank" shape?

They were selling off 2010 stock in the Sale section and an awful lot of bats were really cheap.

I'll admit the shape is a little funny the way they've tried to do a scoop like design but I can't say I hate it. Although that maybe due to the fact I got a better bat than expected.

It does have a slightly odd shape to the spine but it doesn't really bother me as my kook has a high spine. I agree on the size it does look a bit small next to my bulldog and kook.

Put up a picture or 2... It'd be nice to see what you got!
Also what weight did you get?

2'7 is the weight, though my Luna feels lighter and weighs in at 2'8.

I agree on the weight thing also... My kook is 2.9 and the pellara is supposedly 2.7 but feels more like 2.11 in terms of pick up.

I also think its quite amusing how none of us who've ordered the pellara got the same stickers.
Your stickers say v3.0 and mine say v1.1
