What grade of Willow

Bought this bat new so i just wanted to know what grade willow is it and how does the bat looks.
help me to increase knowledge about bats.

Depends whether the manufacturer grades on looks or performance. Surely you would have had some idea when you bought it.

And again yeh, we seem to be lacking a please or thankyou.

This forum is probably the best resource for gear related information anywhere on the net, take some time to read through old posts to gain information. Manners go a long way, too.

Are they for sale I'm interested in the shape mate they do look nice indeed not a fan of heartwood but wonder what did you pay for them

probably a y2 or vellum cleft , the dark patch near the shoulder is prob a  knot ,under the  top sticker

I used to get a few vellum bats they had big knots in them not sure about definitions though

All low grade clefts ,mostly with knots ,butterfly stains etc . How many are you after dave?

They are local Pakistani bats made for MD Sports (Maindad Sports, founded by Javed Maindad's brother).

It is grade two, MD grade bats based on look.

It was probably close to 80ish quids so in that you can't expect a Newberyish finishing L:L

I wold have said grade three with the amount of heartwood and knots.
Doesnt stop it performing though

Its was bought from Miandad Sports Pakistan for 70£.knocking with hammer.gonna test tommorow in the nets.
