Playing the short stuff

Hello,
After another net last night, i have concluded i cannot play the short stuff for toffee, i will get in position and happily watch it past my grill all night and but i would like to be able to play thge stuff and score runs from it

Try not to be scared of getting hit. Yer it will hurt for a min, but stay in line early and watch it sale to the boundary...

I am the least worried about getting pinned now, i get used to it but it's just the fact i cant get it away

How do you want to score off it pull shot hook shot or just push it for one

Best way to learn as it sounds like it's not a natural shot is get someone to bounce you with a tennis ball at you in nets and practice the shot till it feels more natural

All I got in the nets last night was short balls! Literally no half-volleys.... I could do with a bit of work on it. Stay side on and get back and across
