Does anyone know if he has used it in a match yet

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Quite surprised they've got the Derbyshire Vs Worcs game on sky tonight when there's Essex Vs Somerset on...

I'm definately not complaining though!

Mind you, looking at the last two televised games which have featured essex and somerset (which may have something to do with it) and the p*** poor performance that each have put in, there might be the opportunity for a decent game. The last two certainly haven't.

I'm certainly not moaning about Essex not being on after what happened against Surrey  ;)
