A bit of work
« on: January 09, 2009, 10:07:16 PM »

This is mainly directed at the batmakers on here, looking for a quick job doing to one of my bats. I need some weight taking off a bat as it's not picking up to my liking, and also after a carbon handle replacing with a standard cane handle, could any batmakers get back to me with a quote for such work, thanks.

Spliced bats cannot have a carbon C6+ handle fitted as they need a solid cleft to drill into. You could get a Laver Carbo to replace it.

I'm able to do the lightening but you will get a better quote from others so pm me if you need one.

Mike, I'm actually after a Laver Carbo handle replacing with a standard cane handle, I don't think there will be any problems with this as the cleft is spliced like for a regular bat.
