Presumably, you are talking about wearing the black socks with a suit to work - which is obviously appropriate.
It is reasonable to say that black socks are "frowned upon" where I play...

Not quite, They're frowned upon where i play too Buzz, but im turning those frowns upside down one weekend at a time. Tbh i just forget to bring white socks along to half the games i play, get some abuse from my team lol

Black socks and whites  >:( ((((Shudders)))) That will be £5 please on the fine and an extra £2 for trying to argue a case that it is right to wear them. Extra £1 if the whites are tucked in the socks.

Found a pic of myself. Tried to copy it from the website, but they have good protection so i cannot just copy it, sooo, had to take a pic from my mobile and upload it,,, so bad quality.
Pic of me smashing the leather off the ball with my toe against Tony Palladino last season.

That was at our home ground. He did play for Essex last year, but this was for his club side, he is now with Derbyshire i think?? He isnt the quickest, but swings the ball a mile!
