Yeah he was class, this sort of proves it!!!

At the moment best Pro's would have to be Pieter Malan

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/277390.html

I think he will make it!

Amateur wise Lukman Vahaluwala
http://npcl.play-cricket.com/profile/statistics.asp?id=11141391

He was on Cricket AM this Saturday just gone, won the speed challenge, think he got 77mph, ended up bowling in the nets Vs England the other week. He is the guy who owns Lukeys Sports (http://www.lukeyssports.co.uk/)

Very true! But he has great prices and actually has his own brand of pads and gloves, very decent.

Yeah, he will go far IMO.

Other good 'amateurs' are Atiq Uz-Zaman. He used to pro for us many years ago and now somehow classes as an amateur even though he has played test and ODI cricket for Pakistan!

Usually decent for 1000 runs a season!

Luis Reece is good. Has been playing for the Unicorns this year, as well as Lancashire 2s.

Jamie How is decent as well. Doesn't seem to be putting the performances in though. Easy £15K for him ;)

Plus his wage in NZ. Talk about living the dream.

Are a lot of professionals nice guys off the field or very up themselves?

Plus Car & Accomodation.

It makes me sick. We played against a guy last week who gets free accommodation and £250 a week. He came over as a batsman and from 11 innings has scored 181 runs...

I score more runs that him and I have to fork out my £6 match fee every week!!

Callum Ferguson was a great guy, came and spoke to me after I batted whilst he was fielding.

Omari Banks pro'd for us and was a really top bloke as well. Never known anyone to practice as much as he did. He was at the ground everyday, would bowl trying to hit a cone for hours, as well as the time batting against the machine.

Jamie How was a bit of a dick to be honest. He sarcastically said well batted to me when I played against him, as I was quite lucky during my innings. I've been sledged big time by a pro called Brett Pelser as well which is quite weird. I think I drove the ball twice that went behind point and for 4 and I just laughed when he had a go. At the end of the day it's his job and I play for fun. He even had a go after the game, again I laughed.

We had him as a sub-pro when he was pro at St Annes. Spent most of the day signing things! He was quality, stayed after the game until the wee hours and was a genuinely funny man!
