I'd love to say no, but if I'm honest I think there is a huge difference in standard between our 1s in the prem and our 2s in div 2.

There are many Ex-county, some current county and even some England U-19 players kicking about, along with some decent overseas pros and it certainly makes a big difference. From a batsman's perspective the main difference I've found is the alarmingly small number of genuinely bad balls.

not in nhants personally but we play peterborough, oundle and finedon in our sunday league

just last sunday we got slaughtered by asim butt, who i assume you will have encountered with peterborough!

ive also played against kettering, isham, thrapston, rushton, rushden in the past

Yeah, had to happen at some point i suppose! I know he's still ridiculously good, he plays Chris with absolute ease as well!

No back in 1's now as both captains had a word at nets other week lol and I was advised to go back to 1st team

They were poor against us as they could not play spin but Massey is a good bowler if he is playing
