very nice stance, ready for action (try lift your hands a little higher to reach perpendicular with your forearm)

anyone struggling to understand how to hold the bat with the bottom hand ............ this picture is a very good guide.

well he should be a bit lower than that for a start. He should be coming up to meet the ball.

To be fair George (the keeper) is a nice lad and only 17. He plays for us on a Sunday and does a decent job against some very wayward bowling.

Just his feet look like a penguin. At least George is watching the ball, he is fixated on it which is good.

4months illness, and only two nets all winter, mean I like a little village with the bat in this pic!
