http://www.blenheimcricket.co.uk/

Found this earlier, looks like a new brand in the market. Quite like the look of their gear, anybody know anymore about them?

Look lovely, bit of a pain that you can't see a full length picture of any of the bats, unless you look really hard for it.

I'd guess it was James, but then the website does say, "three Cambridge University cricketers....", and the domain is registered to an address in Oxford, and it would cost £4 to find out who owns that address...

Mixture of Salix stickering with the Bradbury 'B' on the edges?

The Oxford is very nicely stickered. Bet we can guess who's making them too.

the thing is, why would you do this - is there actually money in creating a small brand like this?

The stickers look nice and the pictures of the bats are all lovely, but it seems to me you are never going to make a load of cash on this and there will be loads of headaches...
(So no it is nothing to do with me - but the stickers are pretty - plus I went to Exeter, not Oxbridge.)

I think it is PunterPonting as he briefly mentioned a while back he was at Cambridge, plus he was looking into the idea of getting some softs made up.

There's never really going to be huge profits in the cricketing industry anyway, but especially when they're a small brand. Its probably just run on the enjoyment of kit or trying something new...

I would imagine they don't hold much stock, buy bats to order and sticker them up. There's not masses of money in it and you're not going to become a millionaire from it but there isn't much hassle and it's easy enough. Softs are more painful, with the different sizes and designs.

It is Punter.

A couple of lads I play with know this fella, so I've seen a Blenheim Cricket Bat case, which is very nice, and also a Grade 2 cleft which he got made up unstickered for my friend's brother...
Very nice bat is that one :)

Sure the brand will do well :D
