That's what I thought mate

Pm'd you about the helmets mate

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Maybe you are missing the concept Mike. Peoples pockets get lined everyday in cricket and very few even know never mind get upset over it.

Indeed, but at least we see some cricket in return, rather than a batting drill, fielding drill and speed gun on a bowling session, personally I could not give a fig for any of the above, maybe if they were actually playing some cricket then we would have something of interest.

You may need to look at the broader side of this project Mike, not many folk have had the chance to see the "Titans of Cricket" perform in the past due to their age and other circumstances.  I'm all for giving a new concept/project a go as you well know so let's just see how it pans out. It could well be a winner or a dumpster outcome but for £22.50+ it is worth a look. (my opinion)

Would you pay £25 a ticket and all the add on costs such as transport, food, drink etc for a Titans of Football event, watch Kevin Keegan, Alan Shearer, Tony Adams take on a German side in a contest to see who could kick the ball furthest, tie their shoe laces the fastest etc....

If people want to see Tres or Azhar then get to your local ground as they play every week, me, I'd pay £25 to see Boon take on all comers in a VB drinking contest....

I think you are losing sight of the sporting PR here Mike as cricket is a growing sport worldwide in terms of massive earnings for players that can cut the mustard and be selected for certain teams.

There is more to life outside Tres hence maybe the idea of "Titans of Cricket" , as for VB I have had a few a few to mention !!!  Not everyone lives in "go slow country" so having TOC is a good idea for all concerned :)

Some people would say £22.50+ is a steal to be able to even see how these "Titans of Cricket" became superb cricketers in their time by viewing how they net, prepare how they net plus how they approach a net practice session.

If was in the area at the time of these "Titans of Cricket" events I would be in there like a flash with a bag full of Sky Sports Lekka RDX Big Hitter Cricket Bats :)

(JP can carry the bag)

Stop baiting!! It's boring. I personally think this looks like it could be a good giggle, a bit like a cricketing gladiators. I also think that they're missing a trick by not pitching bowlers against batsman in some sort of indoor cricket game.

You can see the current cream of the crop do it for free at your local ground.

Boon is fat and fifty, what will he actually be showing us apart from his fat guts spilling out of his skin tight canary yellow shirt?

Im not sure having a review done by Sky Sports makes u able to link it to ur product name otherwise they would all become rather long winded.....AOC/Wisden/SS etc etc.

Id rather spend £15 and go and watch a local T20 match where there is an actual aim to the competition rather than a practice session

You should maybe expand more Mike (on grounds and players).

I would hate to miss out on a double header.

If you're not sure Tom then leave it. Now that you are back online you can reply to my email.
