you know Kieswetter is in the side, right?

He is? I could of sworn Prior was still the One-day wicket keeper... Thinking about I'm not even sure if we want Trott and Cook in the side, they are too slow hitting for one day cricket...

Bell, Kieswetter, Pieterson, Morgan and then two other batsmen who are playing well at county level would be the best ODI team for us really...

Sure other people may pull you up on this, but Trott averages 55 in ODIs and was superb at the World Cup.

Also, people seem to often overlook other English wicketkeepers in favour of Kieswetter.  Mustard at Durham for one has been in superb form with gloves and bat so far this season.  Safe hands, and scores runs quickly, bring back the Colonel.

Samit Patel finally gets his long overdue chance. Can be lazy as regards his weight, but my God he is an outstanding cricketer. Also not sure what people's gripe with Trott is, he has a strike rate of 79 in ODIs, which is not slow by any means. Cook goes at 78 in domestic OD matches, and at 130 in T20s, so it proves he can get on with it. People are jumping to conclusions, for example Hashim Amla has an S/R of 50ish in test matches, but one of 97 in ODIs, just because people bat slow in a test match doesn't mean they will in an ODI. Different format, please don't shoot first and ask questions later!

Trott has a class average, and if we loose an opener early, we know he will happily play the anchor role through the innings whilst KP, Morgo and Belly etc have a swing. Perfect if you ask me
