You dont see many of these now
This still has a bit of a flat back
I dont think it is "the" Flat back though

First bat I ever had was an SP - that would be in about 1978 or thereabouts.  Cant remember what model but i do remember that bit of a flattening on the back.  Was this something common to all SP's?

The Master was the flat back model, other models were the Supreme and the Caravelle, and were more traditionally shaped

First gloves I ever owned were SP in about the same time period. White Mittens with blue SP sign. Those were a precious love in that time.
