never said it was johnny just they give you a good game

northern league suprised me we beat blackpool st annes and carnforth and we were told it was the strongest in Lancashire.

I guess though with the Lancs League the quality has dropped in my opinions in both terms of proffesionals and ameatures

Who do/did you play for when you beat those teams?

Hey mate. Our skipper reckons we are no chance of getting colesy to play this season. Apparently Kent are wrapping him in cotton wool. Everyone reckons it would be a great way to bring him back from injury....everyone but Kent!

come and play for the MIGHTY SPCC Tom.

A true deck.

The LDCC is the best league the world has ever seen.

Im not surprised, they rate him pretty highly down there. Have to agree though, best way for him to get fit and some matches under his belt will be playing premier league cricket. Although there has been quite a few games for kent 2's of late but they have mostly been t20's

I currently play in the league below the Notts ECB, however one of the teams in the notts prem currently has - USman Afzaal, Alex Tudor and Saqlain Mustaq playing for them.  Some of the players in that league are absolute quality

West Indian Cavaliers? That's ridiculous! ex-England internationals playing together! Would be great to play against them once though.

Yes mate

Imagine ducking and diving an over of Tudors thunderbolts, only to see Saqlain taking his jumper off at the other end.... ridiculous!

I'm sure Thomas would be better testing himself in the premier division, rather than a 1st div side like SPCC.

My mate Atul used to play for them when Chris Lewis was captain! He told me the team back then, it was ridiculous!

I'm trying to negotiate a financial package with Preston CC as I've heard they need a new keeper.

Looking for travel expenses plus a bonus package ;)

Without saying too much about your requirements. What do typical paid players get as a package, at what levels?

Think that's a bit of banter Nick. Tom and Ben used to play together at Carnforth. Ben is now at Preston (3rd or 4th spell there Ben?)

Maybe, but I'm always interested in what "pros" are getting. Remember a few years back when Slough had Lewis,Hayward etc it was rumoured the bill was £30k+. They had just sold up their inner city site and relocated further out, making a tidy profit in the process.
