Maestro did survive to the late 90's with Vaughan/Tresco era stickering.
At the time GM's colour schemes changed according to the grade of the bat as opposed to the, model, so the Originals all had marooney/red trim, then I think the next grade down was 'Professional' which had goldy colour, then 'Premier' with blue trim and bottom was 'Superstar' in Yellow (if I'm remembering right!?) This was from my days at college as myself and a few mates had GM bats, so you're looking at around 1998/1999.
I might have 'Professional' and 'Premier' the wrong way round in my grading hierarchy??
