I am asking this question as my dismissal from sat is still frustrating the hell out of me

i managed to play on, whilst trying to leave one...... and i haven't stopped thinking about it all week........

i plan to combat this by when leaving in future i make a real effort to bring my bat over my head when leaving one

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

played on to a 45 degree angle to a ball that should have gone over extra cover boundary as it was virtually a wide!

My dismissal on saturday was just as bad.

First over of the game. Short ball down leg side, try and pull it, keeps abit low hits me on the knee roll bounces up onto my glove, drops down and trickles into off stump just knicking the bail off. It was a long afternoon....

A match about a month ago I was after building a good innings and was on 15 off about 35 balls. Then a pie chucker came on and I was in two minds to smack it for 6 or play it in to the off side for a single. Ended up chipping it to mid off. Really annoyed over it

Playing a straight drive to a straight ball that pitched and stayed so low it went under my bat, which wasn't given as a dead ball.... grrrrrr!!!!!

Sounds unlucky but why would it be a dead ball? or did it roll?

Playing all around a straight one from the worst leggie I've ever faced, when I needed to stay in to knock a total off.

Mine is from the Aussie season which finished in April. I was opening against a lefty brining them in (Im a righty) but he often started them to wide, or he would pitch them too short. The ball before he pitched it a bit short so I left it and it sailed over the top, next ball was almost a carbon copy so I left it again, but this one didn't bounce and hit the top of off peg without me offering a shot. Bloody embarrassing, ahah, but what can you do.
