260-9   Raina edged to Prior off Anderson, and that is a 5-for

Fully deserved victory, after being put in on the first day that is a mega result!

Can't see India coming back into the series unless they learn to bowl and field in the next few days....their lack of effort in the field and lack of any top class bowlers to back up Khan (who has turned up overweight for this series) suggest it might be a long summer for them....still like to see Sachin get a ton at some point though!

Great result. Possibly the worst India have played for a long time. It's going to be an interesting series...

Fantastic stuff from England, you would wonder from this performance how on earth did India make it to numero uno? Having said that India will come back strong and it could be a completely different game at Trent Bridge. This has been too easy for England. When India smash 400 in a day and England are chasing the game  and have to knuckle down thats when England will be truly tested

England were the better team by a distance, nuff said!

India are the waining force take away the 3 giants in there batting who are coming to a end for sure the rest as we know if the ball starts moving struggle

For sure they did not get to number 1 for no reason but there best player in English conditions is not fit and i doubt he will be

Without Zaheer in England India have no chance at all.

I can not see India bowling us out with there very average attack but i still think Khan is possible the best bowler in the world when fit.

Is anyone else getting a tad wound up by the hysterical screaming from the crowd everytime an Indian player hits the ball?

Doing my head in, have had to turn down the volume!

Worse is the booing when an england fielder dared to stop a ball. Every time.

Even better than Jimmy on his day mate?

Zaheer Khan is a bit overrated I think. He is nowhere near Steyn. His record in tests is good but not great. He has been very good recently but the rest of the Indian attack makes him look much better.

I thought Sharma did well considering, but Jimmy and Dale Steyn are the best seamers around at the moment for me
